- The slipper is made from one large granny square.
- It’s folded and stitched to shape the foot.
- A decorative bow is added on top.
๐ธ PART 1: CROCHET ONE LARGE GRANNY SQUARE
Basic Granny Square Pattern:
Use 3 colors: peach, blue, and cream.
- Start with a magic ring, or:
- Ch 4, sl st to form a ring.
- Round 1:
- Ch 3 (counts as dc), 2 dc into ring,
- (ch 2, 3 dc in ring) ร 3,
- ch 2, sl st to top of beginning ch-3.
- (4 corners)
- Round 2 and beyond:
- Slip stitch to corner space, ch 3, 2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc (corner),
- [3 dc in next space between clusters], repeat around,
- At each corner: (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc),
- sl st to join, change colors every round if desired.

Repeat until your square is approx. 25โ30 cm (10โ12 in) on each side (depends on foot size).

Step-by-Step Folding Instructions:
- Lay the granny square flat, rotated like a diamond (corner pointing up/down).
- Place your foot in the center to estimate toe and heel folds.
- Fold bottom corner (toe) upward toward the center.
- Fold left and right corners over the center to wrap around the sides of your foot.
- Sew these three corners together to form the toe and top of the slipper.
- Use whip stitch or mattress stitch.
- Leave the top partially open for your foot to slip in.
- Back of the heel:
- Fold the top corner down to meet the heel area.
- Sew the last seam up the back to close the heel.
